Is My File Good To Print?
All print providers will defer to the file supplied by the client and print exactly as-is.
In most cases, manual checking isn’t necessary. Well over 95% of our customers find the color of their prints to be both accurate and exceptional. However, in a few cases, that is not the case.
The most common cause of this is a customer wanting to see the brightest possible image, perhaps on a monitor that isn’t as bright as it might be, and turning up their monitor brightness. This can make the image look much more pleasing.
We print very linearly, to prevent loss of detail in the highlights and shadows. If you do not want to take the time to check each file for your order in your photo editor, we’re happy to do that for you.
However, please keep in mind that the best appearance of an image is highly subjective. Our professionals will do what looks best to them. We hope that this will look best to you also.
Once you have ordered a file, with manual checking, there is no need to repeat that process if you order it again. We will modify our master version(s) of your files.
Not sure if your file is going to print awesome? Contact us and let’s make sure your file is good to print.
